Guide/Part Six · Review & edit

View as if accepted

Read the pass as it would look with every suggestion accepted. This is a sanity check on the final prose. Often, Track Changes can get messy, and it becomes easy for an editor to introduce errors by accident, simply because it's hard to see that extra space, for example. Using this feature is an easy way to verify how the edits would look if the author accepted everything as suggested.

  1. Click the View as accepted eye in the ribbon (or View ▸ View as Accepted).
  2. The page shows insertions baked in, deletions gone, and all marks hidden.
  3. Click Back to editing to return.
Note

It's a reading lens. Editing is paused while it's on, and it resets off each time you enter Review Mode.
