Guide/Part Two · Write
Fonts, size & color
Pick a typeface, weight, and size from the ribbon; add text color or a highlight when you need it.
- Select the text you want to change.
- Open the Family dropdown and choose a font. Your recent fonts sit at the top; every installed font is below.
- Use the Style picker between Family and Size to choose a weight. Light through Black, with matching italics.
- Set the point size from the Size dropdown (8–72 pt).
For color, click the Text color or Highlight swatch in the ribbon and pick from the palette.
Note
The bold and italic shortcuts still work alongside a chosen weight. Pick Black, press Ctrl+I / ⌘I, and you get Black Italic if the family has it.
