Switching modes

The Mode Switcher is the green glass pill in the chrome row, which moves you between Draft Mode and Review Mode with a single click.

  1. Click Review to switch to the editing surface, or Draft to switch back.
  2. The active segment lights emerald and the indicator slides across, as the view changes.
Note

It's always the same document. Switching modes moves no text and loses nothing. Undo history is kept separately per mode. Working in Review Mode adds extra protections to the source manuscript, purposefully. You can't lose work while editing.
