How roles work

Your role comes from the file you're holding, not from any account.

• Hold the master document (the one you wrote) and you're the owner, with full authority to accept, reject, and publish.
• Hold a review copy (made from a packet) and you're the editor: you make suggestions and comments, which return to the owner.

One editor works one pass at a time. Because identity travels in the file, you can move your copy between your own machines without re-identifying.
